Description
I made one post to "Wordpress HELP!!" 3 months ago, and I seem to get email alerts for any post on any topic in that forum. I should just be getting alerts to the topic I created (which has long gone quiet).
I know there is going to be a new mail script in a future upgrade, so this may be solved with that, but I post here in case that is not covered.

Hi Michael,
I think that when you join a group, you are automatically subscribed to its updates. To adjust your preferences, please look at the footer of the email, which contains a link to your subscription settings.
If you change settings for that group and it doesn't work, please let me know.

That makes sense, though I guess that I didn't think/realize I joined the Group when I posted to the Forum. I unsub'd to the Group.

You will have a bit more granular control with the new email system.
