Redmine CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #7786 (Resolved): Private Blog posts still show up in mainpage blog feedhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/77862017-03-09T20:15:22ZShawnta Smithssmith4@gc.cuny.edu

The site https://refdesk.commons.gc.cuny.edu/ is private only to approved users (library staff).
Reading is set to option: "I would like my site to be visible only to users I add to it."

However, when a blog is posted, it appears in the Recent Post feed on the main Commons website - see Alycia Sellie's post in the screenshot provided.
Is there anyway to disenable these posts from appearing in the public recent posts feed?

thank you!

http://gclibrary.commons.gc.cuny.edu/
I am unable to view the slider.

Located in a GC computer lab on both FireFox 24.1 and IE (not sure version).

Not sure why slider is not viewable.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #2895 (Resolved): Prezi WP Plug-in Errorhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/28952013-11-15T21:51:37ZShawnta Smithssmith4@gc.cuny.edu

http://teleogistic.net/code/wordpresswordpress-mu/prezi-wp/

Attempted to create an embed using the Prezi Code supplied on the site above, and although the Prezi loaded visually, once it was clicked in, an error message occurred.

Are there any alternatives?

The goal was to embed this Prezi: http://prezi.com/dhamkwejwiea/the-case-for-longer-cuny-library-loan-lengths/
to this blog post: http://gclibrary.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2013/11/15/cuny-library-circulation-leaders-endorse-42-and-120-day-loans/

Since it didn't work, we replaced the code with a link.

Are we able to enable any of these plugins?
http://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/prezi

I ask because the Cheif is interested in using Prezi's for a few blogposts.

Thank you for the feedback.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #2476 (Resolved): Comments cut off in theme -because a plugin is neededhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/24762013-02-23T03:01:43ZShawnta Smithssmith4@gc.cuny.edu

Please help me to either work around the issue of upload the plugin recommended to work with this theme.

Here is an example of the issue (see comments at bottom of page):
http://gclibrary.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2013/02/20/reluctance/

Here is a test site which has the updated theme and does not have the issue (see comments):
http://testpage.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2013/02/20/reluctance/

Since I would like to not reset the entire site, the theme asks me to install a “regenerate thumbnails” plugin.
But it seems we cannot install plugins?
Would you be able to add this plug in, or give suggestions for troubleshooting?
If this cannot be amended, I will have to recreate the site, and will likely use a new theme.
Thank you.
Shawn Smith
