Via ZD, Ray Liu reports: Hi, our QCAP website seems to be down or showing an "Error thrown" message (Call to undefined function is_plugin_active()) when we land on the home page. , The website URL is
https://qcap.commons.gc.cuny.edu/

Via ZD, GC librarian Ingrid Conley-Abrams reports that "on this blog post, under my name = https://gclibrary.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2023/03/24/teaching-computer-science-with-open-resources/ = there is no information, even though I've filled it out on the bio." (She means the profile - https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/members/ingridconleyabrams/)

I (Marilyn) was unclear what she meant until I looked at other recent posts from Jill Cirasella or Elvis Bakaitis. The dashboard views of their posts don't show that they're indicated anything other than the author field (See screenshots)

Via ZD:

I am a librarian at the Graduate Center Library and I also work on the library website. Since a site we use for the purpose has gone down permanently, I am reimplementing an RSS feed reader to ingest the posts on our Commons site. I have run up against a CORS error, and the simplest solution would be to do as this page suggests: https://bionicteaching.com/allowing-cross-origin-access-to-wordpress-feeds/
Is that possible? It would be very helpful.
Thanks,
Steve

Hannah House (one of the new MA in Digital Humanities students) asks " Is it possible to add a “like” function to posts and replies? I find similar functions on Slack, Facebook, Teams, etc handy. I’d love to be able to positively connect with/support a post or comment without having to clutter the thread with a trivial worded reply."
