Any idea why the WS tickets are suddenly showing html markup tags? Sorry if this is picayune; I'm just finding it difficult to read.
CUNY Academic Commons - Support #17650 (Resolved): WP Email Plug-inhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/176502023-02-09T18:38:06ZMarilyn WeberMweber@gc.cuny.edu

Shamecca A Harris asks

"Quick question: I activated the WP Email Plug-in on my course site and I'm having some trouble with it. In the past, this plug-in allowed me to email my students directly from the Academic Commons, however that is no longer case.

Is there any other plug-in I can use to email my students from the Academic Commons? I know that the groups function allows for messaging through the forum, however I would prefer not to use this option. That said, any assistance you can provide would be helpful."
CUNY Academic Commons - Support #17450 (Resolved): Widget Importer & Exporter pluginhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/174502023-01-05T17:49:59ZMarilyn WeberMweber@gc.cuny.edu

Argh! I've started to build a new site on the commons using the Customizr theme. I really like it in many ways, but, for the life of me, I cannot get it to actually show the logo that I've set and re-set repeatedly over the past few days. I've asked a couple of colleagues for help, and they are equally stumped. Any advice?
https://kcccomp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/
CUNY Academic Commons - Support #14718 (Resolved): User wants to recover deleted accounthttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/147182021-08-20T01:18:58ZMarilyn WeberMweber@gc.cuny.edu

I deleted my Cuny Commons Account by mistake and the sites I had created for it. My account credentials are username: laurapavon and password: v-Bd7XZi8, and the e-mail associated to it marialaura.pavon@brooklyn.cuny.edu<mailto:marialaura.pavon@brooklyn.cuny.edu>. I created it back again with the same credentials, but all of the information from the account has disappeared, is there any way to recover it?
One of our excellent KBCC biologists has made an amazing OER lab manual on WebflowIO, and we were wondering if you have any thoughts on how to migrate it over to the Commons (because the commons is free and awesome, we think this might be a good longer-term solution). The lab manual is available here: https://bio-33-lab-manual.webflow.io/ Professor McGovern has already done the alt-text and accessibility for all of the pages, so if we can somehow magically import rather than copy and paste the text, that would be preferable. Any resources or suggestions on how to best proceed would be most appreciated!

"I created a Commons Wordpress site (https://transatlanticarchivespring2018.commons.gc.cuny.edu/) for students to post their assignments. I had students register with their Lehman email on the CUNY Commons so that I can add them to the Wordpress site as an Author.

However, I'm running into some difficulty with registering two of my students: danysha.reyes@lc.cuny.edu and kelsey.pringle@lc.cuny.edu

They have both registered with the CUNY Commons, but when I log into our Wordpress site and click on "New User," and begin typing their names, there names do not appear in the drop-down menu for me to add them."

What I found is that Danysha has an account, but Kelsey does not. I too could not get to Danysha through "Add New" in the site's dashboard. It also seems she might have two username - Danysha and Danysha2 (see attached screenshots).

A Zendesk user wrote to me saying her username is margereilly but she wasn't sure what email was associated with the name (possibilities were margaret.reilly@cuny.edu, margaret.reilly@mail.cuny.edu or old email mreilly@qcc.cuny.edu).
