I'm working with CITE CUNY<https://computinged.commons.gc.cuny.edu/> and I've encountered a few issues that I haven't had luck solving. [note from Marilyn - second issue is a separate ticket]

1. The Raft theme makes the Commons footer appear in the middle of pages. I'm cloning from an existing site, so I tried replicating the issue by cloning again, and the same thing happened. You can see the issue on this site - https://citepdtweaks5.commons.gc.cuny.edu/

She later added "A more built out site with the Raft theme can be seen here - https://citepdtweaks4.commons.gc.cuny.edu/"
CUNY Academic Commons - Support #15686 (Resolved): ZenDesk introducing "triggers"https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/156862022-03-21T17:04:43ZMarilyn WeberMweber@gc.cuny.edu

Ray, Matt wanted you to have a look at this:

"HI MARILYN,

Zendesk has introduced a new feature called trigger categories to help customers organize triggers and make them easier to manage. Beginning March 31, 2022, we will be automatically adding a default category to your triggers. Our records indicate you have not yet enabled triggers in your account and will be affected by this change, so we’re reaching out with a friendly reminder in case you missed our in-product notification.

What does this mean?
In January 2021, Zendesk rolled out trigger categories as an opt-in feature and since then, many of our customers have taken advantage of this functionality with great results. We are now moving to the next phase of this rollout and will automatically add categories for customers who have not enabled them by March 31.

Please note that this change will not impact the order or the behavior of your triggers. Triggers will continue to execute in the sequence in which they’re ordered, as they always have.

What do I need to do?
We encourage you to get ahead of this change by enabling this functionality on your trigger edit page. Once you are using trigger categories, you’ll be able to designate a category when creating a new trigger via the Zendesk API or the Zendesk user interface. If you don’t specify a category when creating a new trigger, we will select a category for you.

If you don’t take action, after March 31, 2022 you’ll see a default category appear in your list of triggers. This will not impact the way your triggers execute and you shouldn’t notice any other change.

Please refer to this article for details, and partner with your developer resources as appropriate. And as always, you can contact us if you have questions or need additional support.

Sujatha Fernandes reports:

I was recently alerted that the Publications tab on my website (www.sujathafernandes.com) is not working. All the other tabs seem to be working fine. When I click on Publications nothing happens. Would you be able to look into it?

She made me an admin and I saw that indeed, although there is a Publications menu item on the front page, there is no Publications page visible in the dashboard. All of the other menu items (About, Fiction, Events, etc.) ate there. I don't see any trash items at all, and the only thing in draft mode is "Fiction Work" from 2014.

This is a domain mapped site. Could that provide a clue? I am utterly befuddled.
CUNY Academic Commons - Support #13116 (Resolved): support/send us a message link obscuredhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/131162020-07-30T00:55:49ZMarilyn WeberMweber@gc.cuny.edu

Claire Bishop, a GC prof, has an art site that is having problems. Olivia, a Digital Fellow, reports, "The issue that Claire is getting with her site (https://clairebishop.commons.gc.cuny.edu/) is that when you click on one of the tags--which is using the project widget and the 'skills' to generate tags--its not displaying the projects that are tagged with that artist. So the filtering isn't working anymore and it used to work."

Robin Camille Davis also reports:
on the profile page, when I tried to click the “Add friend” button, it wasn't clickable — the cursor became the text-editing cursor instead of the tiny-hand cursor, in random places in the grey area of the profile page including the friend button. I used Inspect Element to hide the “ticketSubmissionForm” iframe, and the profile page became usable again. Same behavior in Firefox and Chrome.

A Zendesk user reports:

I'm trying to accept a friend request on the CUNY Commons site. On the friends/requests/ page on my profile, clicking the Accept button opens up a tab to https://www.zendesk.com/web-widget/?utm_source=webwidget&utm_medium=poweredbyzendesk&utm_campaign=image[zendesk.com] but does not mark the request as accepted.
I'm running Firefox on Windows.
Matt (I think) -

Professor Claire Bishop writes:
I had a meeting last week with Patrick Sweeney, digital fellow and faculty liaison for the New Media Lab, about finding a platform for my current research project. He has advised me to use the Commons site as host (which I am more than happy to do) but I need a particular wordpress theme that is suitable for showing my image archive. We had a good look at the ones you currently have available and none are suitable. The theme is REVEAL, by Themetrust: https://themetrust.com/themes/reveal/
It is currently $59. I need it asap (and am willing to pay for it myself if the alternative is a long wait!).

I think that when a user currently clicks on "Send Us a Message" via the help tab (see attached screenshot), the entered request goes to commons@gc.cuny.edu.
We have an incoming commons member who would really like to use the Academica theme. Is this a PITA to add? More info here - http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/academica/. Happy to answer any further questions about why I'm making this request and marking it High priority.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #3071 (Resolved): Twenty Fourteen theme differenceshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/30712014-02-24T21:34:20ZMarilyn WeberMweber@gc.cuny.edu

Not sure if this is a Redmine issue. I've attached three screenshots to show how the Twenty Fourteen theme
1) loses both the background and sidebar in IE (and truncates "CUNY Academic Commons" to "CUNY Ac"
2) does not allow text or images to fill the middle part of the screen, instead displaying quite a bit of white "dead" space. (I suspect this might be something I can figure out.)

Any tips? Thanks, all!
