From Zendesk:

Hi there commons team,

"I’m investigating a little visual glitch with the Segal Center webpage.

When the page first loads the banner image appears to be fine, but when the pop-up loads, the CUNY Commons logo appears behind the header.

I am wondering if this has something to do with the Segal Book Talks pop-up rotator.

Could you look into this for me and see what might be done to visually resolve this? I’ve attached a screenshot for you.

Via ZenDesk: "I am having issues trying to reset my password. When I enter my new password and click on “Reset Password” I get the passwords don't match warning." She then sent me an image showing that there's no place to re-enter your password once you change it. (images attached)

Then I tried with mweb05@gmail.com. This worked fine: I received a non-blank email (attached), clicked on the link and saved my password without problem. Logged in with the new password.

I'm having a problem when I try to edit a page using the Elementor plugin, the page is not loading so I can't make any changes. Can you guys help me figure why that is happening? I suspect the issue might have to do with a plugin conflict, but I'm not sure. Please see the attached screenshot with the error message I got.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you in advance.
Best,
Lidia

I created a new group for a faculty development workshop that we run multiple times. I created the new group because when posting the forum questions to the old group, it was flagging duplicate topics (the questions and topics are the same between cohorts, but we want new topic threads for each new cohort of faculty answering the questions in the forum). Upon creating the new group, I'm getting the same error message about duplicate topics despite there not being any posts in the new forum (screenshot attached).

I have been getting an error message that the Commons is experiencing technical problems when I attempt to visit my site, however the dashboard functions fine for the site, and all other Commons sites I've visited appear to be fine. My site is https://patricksweeney.commons.gc.cuny.edu/, which is mapped to the url patricksweeney.info - perhaps something with the domain mapping is the issue?

User Steven Kidder reports:
Hi, I am new to this and trying to have my class post on a topic, either an original response or a comment on each other's responses. Sometimes they line up in chronologic order (not what i want), and sometimes they are indented and differently-ordered so that it's clear students whether or not students are making a response to an earlier post. I can't see any option for how to choose one option versus the other. See the two versions below. What do I do? thanks.

Later he elaborated:
I tried using the “quote” button, but then it makes a new post in chronologic order (down at the bottom) for each reply. For 40 students and multiple intermixed replies it’s totally a mess this way.

Maybe you will see how my “quote” post at the bottom is not where it “should” be, i.e. next to the original post by Josue.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #13328 (Resolved): cross-posting in two related groupshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/133282020-09-15T14:48:18ZMarilyn WeberMweber@gc.cuny.edu

A user (Corey Scher) reports the following:

"Both Andres (cc-ed) and myself ar TA-ing a course at CCNY where we are
using Academic Commons.
