We (Steve Zweibel and I) built a site at dataforgood.commons.gc.cuny.edu, and checking it today, it has been overwritten by the basic template. We'd like to recuperate the old site if possible, as we seem to have also lost the data.
Thank you!
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #10570 (Resolved): CUNY DHI landing page broken after menu barhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/105702018-10-22T14:29:20ZLisa Rhodylrhody@gc.cuny.edu

The page was working fine until a new post was published. When the new post was published this morning, the rest of the landing page went white. Could this be related to the PHP upgrade?

CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #10560 (Resolved): PressForward Feed Reader hung up on TLC feed; won'...https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/105602018-10-19T02:52:14ZLisa Rhodylrhody@gc.cuny.edu

The PF Feed reader on the pftest.commons.gc.cuny.edu site seems to be hanging up on the TLC site and won't move on to retrieve items from feeds that have been added to the list of "subscribed feeds." From the user perspective, when I go to Dashboard -> PressForward -> Tools, and select the Retrieval Status tab, the status seems to hang at the TLC RSS feed item 3 out of 4. I've added other feeds, deleted feeds, and tried to interrupt the process, but nothing seems to have worked.
Hi there.. I know this is more of a CBOX question than a Commons issue, but I'm hoping you all might have an idea as to what's going on. I've created a CBOX install at dhinstitutes.org. On that CBOX install, there is a sub-domain wordpress site (dhinstitutes.org/june2018). I can upload images to the Media Library on the main CBOX site, but I am unable to get any images to upload correctly on the sub-domain. I've double checked, and the images are below the max-upload threshold. They are the correct format, etc. etc. When they are "uploading" WordPress goes through all the motions, but no thumbnail appears.. just a gray box. When you try to edit the image in the Media Library, the image is there and can be edited; however, when you select the image from the media library to insert into a page or post, it shows up as a gray box. Any idea what's going on?
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #8671 (Resolved): Preserved HTML editor markup plus pluginhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/86712017-09-07T16:44:11ZLisa Rhodylrhody@gc.cuny.edu

Hi all...

We were wondering if we could add the following plugin to the commons. It hasn't been updated in a year, but it's been tested up to 4.5.9. We have several sites where people want to move back and forth between visual editor and the text editor, but when they do so, problem and errors crop up. This plugin on our dev site has made a big difference.

(To navigate there, to go the menu under your profile picture on the top righthand corner of the commons, select "My Sites.)
The list has lots of scattered, random pixels in between list items.
Hi all,
I added CommentPress to my class site: https://dhpraxisfall16.commons.gc.cuny.edu/. Unfortunately, for some reason when I try to leave a comment it is throwing the following error: "ERROR: please type a comment. « Back" There was text in the comment field, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be registering. I've looked at the Chrome console. Just pulling up a page throws 3 errors and then a 4th error shows up when I open a comment box:
Mixed Content: The page at 'https://dhpraxisfall16.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2017/02/06/project-proposal-encoding-as-close-reading/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script 'http://dhpraxisfall16.commons.gc.cuny.edu/wp-content/plugins/cp-ajax-comments/cp-ajax-comments.js?ver=4.7.2-1.10.10'. (Resolved)" href="https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/6286">#6286. Everyone in my Digital Praxis Fall 2016 group has been essentially kicked out or locked out of the groups page, including myself. I'm attaching an image to demonstrate that the group name shows up under my user profile drop down menu (top left) as one of "My Groups" but when I pull up the page, I get the "This is a private group and you must request group membership in order to join." message. I discovered this message because a student reported it.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #5996 (Resolved): PressForward error: unable to access the relationsh...https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/59962016-09-09T17:06:13ZLisa Rhodylrhody@gc.cuny.edu

Hi all.
I have been trying to use the PressForward plugin on my course site (dhpraxisfall16.commons.gc.cuny.edu) and each time I access the feed reader and click on an item in "all content" , I get the following error: "PressForward was unable to access the relationships database." The item does appear, however, after you click through the error. The same thing happens at each stage of the process (nominating an item, commenting on an item, opening an item in the nominations panel, sending the item to draft). The thing is that the item continues to move and you can get it to go to "draft."

I talked to Aram about it, and he seems to think that it might be that the Commons is preventing PressForward from spawning a new table to house the feed reader's content. I'm not sure if that could be the case, though because the item still shows up even after displaying the error.

Figuring out what is going on would be helpful because the PressForward outreach group is coming to do a workshop on using PressForward on September 23rd. They will probably use a stand alone sandbox instance to do the first training. However, chances are that because PF is on the Commons, we may have a sudden increase in use and want to head off any error messages before then.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #5976 (Resolved): Commons may be down? https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/59762016-09-01T23:31:56ZLisa Rhodylrhody@gc.cuny.edu

There's a small formatting problem on the "request membership" page in which the "button" coloration for "Request Membership" is too short for the words, so it looks funny. I'm attaching an image to demonstrate. There's no problem with the functionality: merely cosmetic.
