Redmine CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #17951 (New): New issue with calendar displayhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/179512023-03-31T17:52:28ZGina Cherry

I've used the Events Manager plugin for many years. Today, I noticed that I am no longer able to access anything beyond the first page of the calendar: https://cetls.bmcc.cuny.edu/events/. When I click on the numbered navigation links, the subsequent pages never load.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #17950 (Reporter Feedback): No longer receiving email notifications a...https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/179502023-03-31T17:48:24ZGina Cherry

The last two posts I published did not generate email notifications. When I published the post today, I no longer even saw a check box option for sending the notification to the group that usually appears near the Publish button.

We are in the midst of a month-long faculty seminar and have been using our Commons site as a space for discussion. Sometime in the last week, we stopped being able to comment on blog posts. The comment box appears and there is a clickable button to submit, but the comment does not appear on the site or under Comments in the Dashboard. I tried this with our most recent blog post (https://abiseminarwinter2022.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2022/01/14/wellness-in-the-classroom/), as well as with last week's post (https://abiseminarwinter2022.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2022/01/07/1227/), which does have comments that were submitted before last Wednesday. I was unable to leave a comment on either post. It would be great if this could be fixed quickly since we had planned to have weekly conversations on the site.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #13704 (Rejected): Site logo not updatinghttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/137042020-12-14T22:19:35ZGina Cherry

I used the Customize section of the dashboard to change the site logo on this site: https://abiseminarwinter2021.commons.gc.cuny.edu/. The new logo is not being displayed and I can see by viewing the page source the the URL for the old logo is still in the HTML. Any ideas about how to fix this?
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #12003 (Resolved): Editing events using Events Manager pluginhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/120032019-10-22T18:28:35ZGina Cherry

I use the Events Manager plugin to manage the CETLS calendar. As of today, I am not longer able to edit events. When I create a new event or attempt to edit an existing event this is what I see: https://screencast.com/t/rD7tRSMtQNg. I have tried this using Firefox and Chrome on a Mac and with both the classic editor and the block editor, all with the same result.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #11927 (Resolved): WP editor backupshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/119272019-10-02T15:27:32ZGina Cherry

I'm seeing a new issue regarding browser backups of blog posts and other WP content. Whenever I update any content, I see the message: "The backup of this post in your browser is different from the version below." https://screencast.com/t/Bn1Ha1Pg

I am working in Firefox on a Mac.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #11582 (Rejected): Site privacy optionshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/115822019-06-20T14:53:35ZGina Cherry

It would be super useful to have an option to make a site visible only to members of a specific group or groups. We're running an open pedagogy seminar and would like an easy way for faculty participants to share their work with each other. Since the sites they're developing are works in progress, they're not so keen on making them available to everyone in the Commons. There are more than 30 faculty in the seminar, so adding everyone manually would not be practical. This would also be useful for classes in which students are creating their own sites or portfolios.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #11512 (Duplicate): Links not opening in new tabhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/115122019-06-03T21:39:18ZGina Cherry

I have set up several of the links on our BMCC Open Pedagogy site to open in new tabs, but they do not. I checked the html and target="_blank" is there, so not why sure this is happening. You can see it here: https://bmccopenpedagogy.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2019/05/31/what-is-open-pedagogy and here: https://bmccopenpedagogy.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2019/05/31/how-might-you-use-open-pedagogy-in-your-course/. Also in the twitter feed on the home page: https://bmccopenpedagogy.commons.gc.cuny.edu/. The rss widget is configured to open links in a new tab.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #11508 (Resolved): Bug with "Send to Group"https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/115082019-05-31T15:57:49ZGina Cherry

Unchecking "send to group" does not work on my new site, https://bmccopenpedagogy.commons.gc.cuny.edu/

I unchecked "Send to Group" and immediately clicked the publish button. I tried this 3 times. All 3 posts were sent to the group.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #11507 (Rejected): Apply layout to existing site?https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/115072019-05-31T15:12:49ZGina Cherry

I added this request to ticket #11501, but wasn't sure if you would be notified since that ticket is already closed.

Would it be possible to apply the Teaching layout to the site that I already created?
I set up a brand new group and web site. When I went to edit the existing "Hello World" blog post, I saw this error message: https://screencast.com/t/aQY36QTOYm62

I entered my site settings (campus and purpose of site), hit "save," and got a message that the settings were saved, but they were not. I tried this a second time a day later with the same result.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #10645 (Resolved): Facebook link in groupshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/106452018-10-31T15:32:28ZGina Cherry

I just attempted to add the CETLS Facebook page to the BMCC CETLS group. I added our Facebook id and the Commons generated this link for the Facebook icon: https://www.facebook/bmcc.cetls. As you can see, it's missing the ".com"
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #10561 (Resolved): CETLS site redirecting to GChttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/105612018-10-19T14:24:26ZGina Cherry

The CETLS site (http://cetls.bmcc.cuny.edu, https://bmcccetls.commons.gc.cuny.edu/) is currently redirecting to the Grad Center site (https://www.gc.cuny.edu/Home)
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #10363 (Resolved): Domain mapping for CETLS sitehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/103632018-09-20T20:50:53ZGina Cherry

Domain mapping is no longer working as it was for the CETLS site (https://bmcccetls.commons.gc.cuny.edu). While it's still possible to access the site home page through the BMCC domain (http://cetls.bmcc.cuny.edu/), when you navigate through the site, the url in the address bar reverts to https://bmcccetls.commons.gc.cuny.edu/*. I'm not sure when this change, but in the past, the BMCC domain was maintained in the address bar throughout the site.
