Redmine CUNY Academic Commons - Support #9144 (Resolved): CSS questionhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/91442018-01-30T15:25:44ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Hi Boone,

I have a CSS question for you. I'm trying to change the size of the site title on this blog -- cuny.is/approachingdh . When highlight the blog title, I see it has a css style attached to tempo-site-title

The theme has a Customize CSS module in the Customize menu; when I enter the following, though, the size of the site title does not change at all.

.tempo-site-title {font-size: 4em;}

Sorry to ask this, but I've been dealing with this issue on a few themes and I would love any advice you might have.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #8660 (Resolved): Search within theme directory issuehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/86602017-09-01T23:00:24ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Today on a mac with Chrome, I was showing someone the CAC and tried to show how to search through the themes for a feature. I searched for "responsive"; in my recollection, there were 53 themes before o searched and 53 after. Maybe we have all responsive themes, but that seemed improbable to me. Would you mind quickly testing this aspect of the site? Thank you.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #6082 (Resolved): Sites downhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/60822016-09-23T17:36:52ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Hi Dan,

I'd like to ask for your help in creating a child theme for the MALS program, which has create a site for its alumni - http://malsalumni.commons.gc.cuny.edu/

We would like to shrink the header on this theme a bit, and I think that a child theme might be necessary

I've made Elizabeth Macaulay-Lewis and Maria Rhodes, who are working on this project, watchers on this ticket. Maria and Elizabeth, can you please update this ticket with any more specifics?

Per ticket 3660, we will have to use the Zendesk web widget starting Nov 2016. Ray told me that the team did not like that widget due to its lack of customization. Can we use this ticket to prepare a complaint/feature request that I can pass on to Zendesk?
Hi Boone--

It looks like the latest update of the Commons have reset the homepage widgets on JITP - http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/

Of immediate concern, I'd like to know whether there is an easy way for me to see how these were set up before the update so that I can restore previous settings (I'm guessing no - but maybe on CDEV?)

Of secondary concern, I'm wondering whether these changes were specific to this theme or whether this will be a wider problem on the Commons.

Marking with high priority as the JITP team is worried and the effects of this could be widespread.
CUNY Academic Commons - Support #3250 (Resolved): Simplicity Slider Issuehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/32502014-06-04T19:58:36ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Cynthia reports that the slider isn't working on her site, which uses the Simplicity theme. I took a look at the dashboard, and it does seem like the slider is enabled under the Simplicity submenu options.

WooThemes has released a security patch for its themes to deal with the recent TimThumb issue. While working through this process, we should consult with Joe Ugoretz at MHC, because this is their plugin and they can advise us on how they use it in their install.
CUNY Academic Commons - Feature #412 (Assigned): Featured Themeshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/4122010-11-23T19:13:51ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

I'd like to make the process of choosing themes easier for our bloggers. Is there a way that we could mark/tag some themes as "featured" and then offer bloggers the chance to choose from them instead of having to slog through the entire repository?
