Redmine CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #56 (Resolved): Addition of a Profile Field Option Removes Existing Onehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/562009-10-25T15:52:08ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Last week, we had a request to add the School for Professional Studies to our profile field options. I added it, but what appears to have happened is that the act of adding SPS removed one of our existing options -- CUNY Central (I believe that that was the option most recently added before SPS).

I just went and tried to re-add CUNY Central, but doing that removed SPS.

Any help that you can give me would be appreciated. Profile fields are handled through BuddyPress, and the interface can be found on the dashboard (Dashboard > BuddyPress > Profile Field Setup

One concern I have is that once we get both options fixed, that we edit the database so that we don't wind up with two groupIDs for one school

Thank you for your help with this.
CUNY Academic Commons - Feature #55 (Resolved): Length of RSS feed on News pagehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/552009-10-21T05:06:03ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Is there a way to go beyond the current number of activity items featured on the news page? I'm interested in delving further back into the archive, but I don't know whether the currently limitation on the feed comes from Yahoo Pipes or some other restriction. It would be nice, at the bottom of the news page, to have an option that allowed us to browse previous entries.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #53 (Resolved): Search on Group Page Not Working, Leads to Home Pagehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/532009-10-20T22:21:46ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

A site member reports that a request to join a group was lost -- the email came, but the site showed no pending requests. When I checked on this, the prospective member had already been added to the group.

I've asked the member to let me know whether this happens again.
CUNY Academic Commons - Feature #43 (Resolved): "Topic not found" Message for non-logged in usershttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/432009-10-15T02:09:28ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

When users click on a link in an email forum subscription post without being logged into the Commons, they see the error message "Topic not found" if the forum is private and they haven't logged in. Some more user-friendly message, such as "Because this post was published in a private forum, you must log in to the Commons before reading it." or something to that effect.

I'm listing this as a feature, as it's not really a bug.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #33 (Resolved): New Groups Added to Help Categoryhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/332009-10-01T06:24:13ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com
