Redmine CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #470 (Duplicate): Atahualpa Theme problems following site upgradehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/4702010-12-13T15:43:12ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Please see this help group post for details: http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/wordpress-help/forum/topic/customize-theme-installation/#post-3344
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #381 (Resolved): Cull old themes from sitehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/3812010-10-30T21:06:40ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

do a review of themes and remove outdated and ugly themes from the site before adding WooThemes. But check to see whether they are being used before removing.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #376 (Resolved): Errant Subscribe2 Global Posts Notificationhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/3762010-10-26T14:08:35ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

I received an email notification from the Global Posts blog of a post that used the tag "anthropol-itics-ology." I hadn't done anything to subscribe to it, so I'm a bit mystified as to why I received it. I'm worried that others received it, as well.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #360 (Resolved): Activity Feed Problemshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/3602010-09-28T00:44:32ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

I'm seeing only two blog posts in the "Recent Blog Posts" list. In the past, I've seen errors in that column because of erroneous formatting in the post excerpts, but looking at the source of the page, I see empty activity feed items.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #352 (Resolved): Member reports problems with avatar croppinghttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/3522010-09-22T04:13:16ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

A member using Windows XP and Internet Explorer reports that when trying to crop an avatar image, the small image on the right doesn't show changes as the cropping square is being adjusted, and no "Crop Image" button appears. Everything worked for this member at home. Can we do some testing on this? I don't know which version of IE was being used. I can help with the testing, as I have XP/IE on a computer here.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #346 (Resolved): News Nav Bar Link on Wiki Pages Points to Wrong Pagehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/3462010-09-20T12:16:22ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

The news page isn't loading for me on either Chrome or Safari. Any idea what's up?
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #340 (Resolved): BP Admin Bar Menu Mouseover Areas Too Sensitive https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/3402010-09-16T04:40:48ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

A report from UserVoice:https://cunycommons.uservoice.com/admin/forums/35103-general/suggestions/1060455-dropdown-menus-are-too-sensitive-on-mouseover

Hello, I keep noticing a bug where the dropdown menus on the front page are very sensitive and often collapse when trying to click on an item. If I hover my mouse or move it too quickly (and by "too quickly", I mean average speed), the menus close. Sometimes I have to key down using my keyboard just to reach a menu item. This occurs in Firefox 3.6.8

I don't seem to have this problem myself, but I've encountered it a few times and I've seen others run into it. I know that we dealt with this a long time ago; the ticket might be in Basecamp.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #323 (Resolved): Multiple listings of member account in BP grouphttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/3232010-09-01T22:55:40ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

I've noticed another instance in which a member appears to be listed twice in a group. Please see email for details.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #315 (Resolved): Can't upload images to galleryhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/3152010-08-30T02:29:02ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Upon trying to upload images through the media uploader to the Image Credits page ( http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/about/images/ ), I received the following error message: "Sorry, you must delete files before you can upload any more." That seems strange, since I think we only have 8 or so images in the Library. Maybe we've exceeded the size limit somewhere?
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #314 (Resolved): Changing Blog Title in BuddyPress Menushttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/3142010-08-28T19:00:16ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

A member changed the name of her blog soon after creating it. The name shows up on the blog itself, but not in the drop down menu on the top right (under "my blogs") or in the directory of CUNY AC blogs. The member is interested in having it show up everywhere uniformly with the revised title.

Thoughts? Is there a place where the member can do this herself?

Assigned the CFs to watch this ticket so that they can answer future questions related to this issue.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #306 (Rejected): Text on Group Page should be darkerhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/3062010-08-26T18:03:23ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

It looks to me like the default text on group pages is a light gray that is hard to read against the white background. Do you find this hard to read, too? If so, can you update the stylesheet to a darker shade of gray, maybe #999999
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #295 (Resolved): Unable to change Featured Posthttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/2952010-08-18T01:34:42ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Not sure what is going on, but I seem to be unable to make a desired change on the Featured widget for the homepage.

What I'm trying to do: change from http://groundcontrol.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2010/08/12/hello-world/ to http://groundcontrol.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2010/08/17/letters-from-the-concourse-level/

What happens: when I replace the post-slug in the widget, it continues to display the older post.

What else I did: tried switching around a bit, first to featured resource and then back to featured post. That didn't help. Then I tried changing the blog (went to news.commons.gc.cuny.edu ) and saved and saw a change on the homepage (oddly, it displayed a different post), and then went back to the ground control blog. Still displayed the older post on that blog.

Assigning this to Boone but we may want to bring in Michael to troubleshoot.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #278 (Resolved): Group Blog plugin creates subdirectory, not subdomai...https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/2782010-07-22T02:55:55ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

I jnoticed something weird while looking at the group blog interface for a new group that I'm a part of: when I enabled a group blog and selected the option to create a new one, it said that the blog created would have a URL with a subdirectory instead of a subdomain. screenshot attached.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #266 (Resolved): Account Deletion Processhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/2662010-07-02T00:31:43ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

A user reports that he tried to delete his account but that the deletion didn't occur. I don't know exactly what process he followed, but I do note two things:

1. All of his blogs are gone, which says to me that he deleted his WP account but not his BP profile, which is still there.

2. The directions here -- http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/wiki/index.php/FAQ#How_Do_I_Delete_My_Account.3F -- are no longer valid, as there is no longer a "Delete Account" option under "My Settings" in the newer version of BP. I can't find a "Delete Account" option anywhere else.

I can delete his account for him, but there should be a clear way for users to delete their accounts.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #213 (Rejected): Wiki Stylehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/2132010-05-06T14:55:59ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

The text-size styles on the wiki aren't displaying properly on my system (XP/Chrome) - the text is too small. Not sure how it appears on other systems. Screenshot attached.
