I just tried a few cuny.is shortlinks and they are not working (one is brought to a page with the attached error).

Examples:

We had a request from a user for the WP Super Edit plugin ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-edit/ ):

The recent update of WP reduced the number of editing buttons/features on the text editing box. In my own sites I use the plug-in WP Super-Edit to manage the editing features and add editing functions. I looked for a similar plug-in among those already installed and did not find one. If there is one can you tell me the name.

The email notification related to the update George Otte sent out today for the CUNY Academic Technology Committee meeting was cut off at a certain point. Is there a word limit on notifications? If so, perhaps we should lengthen it a bit. And if it is going to be cut off, there should be a message that says something like "Read the full post" with a link to the post.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #553 (Rejected): Wonky Hero Slide Overlayshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/5532011-02-02T04:56:54ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

At the last CUNY Academic Commons meeting, I brought up the Commons on the macbook the GC had given us and used Firefox to show the site. The shaded overlays that go over the hero slides were displaced from the images themselves and moved over to the right of the image.

I didn't think to note the version of FF being used or the Mac OS version, unfortunately.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #449 (Rejected): WooThemes displaying category list in navhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/4492010-12-08T05:29:07ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

I've noticed that several of the new WooThemes we installed with 1.1 are having some odd problems. Notably, themes such as Headlines (to take one example among many) seem to add a list of categories at the top of the main section of the page. On a blog like the News blog, which has hundreds of categories, this makes the theme unusable.

I tried to play with the theme settings to take out the appearance of categories, but I didn't see a way to do it, so I'm thinking that we may have to hack this theme (and other WooThemes) if we want this to work.

Chris, I was wondering whether you might be able to take the lead on this. If you could create a test blog and go through some of the WooThemes (many of the problems are apparent on preview) and work towards some solutions, I would appreciate it.
CUNY Academic Commons - Feature #420 (Resolved): WP 3.0.2 Updatehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/4202010-12-01T16:12:45ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

The text-size styles on the wiki aren't displaying properly on my system (XP/Chrome) - the text is too small. Not sure how it appears on other systems.
We should clean up the default page template so that it does not include the site-wide activity feed in the sidebar.
