Redmine CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #18921 (Resolved): Add Editoria11y plugin?https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/189212023-09-27T18:45:25ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

I was having a conversation with Charlie, who mentioned that the OpenLab has found this plugin useful: https://editoria11y.princeton.edu/

Boone, do you have experience with this? Luke, Laurie, Scott - can you please take a look and see whether it is something you think we should add?
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #17693 (Resolved): Jetpack notification issuehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/176932023-02-21T13:37:14ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

I mentioned this issue during our last monthly meeting, but I'm not sure whether it has been addressed and/or whether there has been a ticket about it.

I've been getting the attached error messages from the Commons; they appear to be coming from Jetpack. Is there a way to disable them?
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #11585 (Rejected): TheThe Tabs and Accordion plugin weirdnesshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/115852019-06-20T19:59:13ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Hi Scott,

Can you please test this plugin on the CAC? It doesnt' appear to be working properly for me -- for example, when I click on the menu item for the plugin in the dashboard, the image doesn't load. I was also unable to load the details of the plugin when I searched "accordion" and clicked "View details"

FYI, I am trying to use an accordion for a FAQ section; if you have any suggestions of a good plugin to use, please let me know. thanks!
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #10228 (Rejected): NS Cloner network activatedhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/102282018-08-27T02:28:01ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

I started a new site and see a link on the Dashboard for "NS Cloner". I'm assuming that this is a site cloning plugin that was network activated, but I don't know that we want it to show up in the blog dashboard -- it might be confusing to some people. screenshot attached. is this intended behavior?
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #9977 (Rejected): ACERT website downhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/99772018-07-02T18:37:29ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

From Zendesk:

Good morning,

Our website, acert.hunter.cuny.edu, is down. I am unable to even access the Wordpress CMS. I've attached a screenshot. Please help!
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #8660 (Resolved): Search within theme directory issuehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/86602017-09-01T23:00:24ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Today on a mac with Chrome, I was showing someone the CAC and tried to show how to search through the themes for a feature. I searched for "responsive"; in my recollection, there were 53 themes before o searched and 53 after. Maybe we have all responsive themes, but that seemed improbable to me. Would you mind quickly testing this aspect of the site? Thank you.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #6082 (Resolved): Sites downhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/60822016-09-23T17:36:52ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

A member had asked how to copy a course website from one semester to another, so I suggested two ways: 1) Tools > Import / Export, and 2) Multisite Clone duplicator plugin

Her response:

"An update on the issue below just in case it is useful: I was able to use the Export-Import tool, but I was not able to use the Clone plugin. Although I activated it, I couldn't find the "Clone" button under "My sites" page or anywhere else, so I was not able to execute the cloning."

I'm reminded that we ran into problems with JITP and the clone tool. Has it been disabled in some way? I think it's still listed among the available plugins, so we should change that if it is not fully working.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #4125 (Resolved): Help overlay layer issuehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/41252015-06-04T22:55:08ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Please see the attached screenshot, which shows a problem where the help overlay appears below content on the page instead of over it.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #4010 (Resolved): GC Digital Fellows site downhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/40102015-04-21T23:24:19ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Per our email conversation with Katina:

Matt, I also just noticed that there appears to be some issues with the External Group Blogs plugin causing duplicate items of the same post

Can you open a new issue and mark it under a milestone so I do not forget? Thanks!
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #3393 (Resolved): Widgets reset on JITPhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/33932014-08-22T17:59:16ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Hi Boone--

It looks like the latest update of the Commons have reset the homepage widgets on JITP - http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/

Of immediate concern, I'd like to know whether there is an easy way for me to see how these were set up before the update so that I can restore previous settings (I'm guessing no - but maybe on CDEV?)

Of secondary concern, I'm wondering whether these changes were specific to this theme or whether this will be a wider problem on the Commons.

Marking with high priority as the JITP team is worried and the effects of this could be widespread.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #3100 (Resolved): Add Customizr Themehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/31002014-03-08T16:06:47ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

WooThemes has released a security patch for its themes to deal with the recent TimThumb issue. Details are here: http://www.woothemes.com/2011/08/timthumb-security-flaw-patch/
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #765 (Rejected): Subscribe2 Weirdnesshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/7652011-05-17T18:20:23ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

I just took a look at my subscription preferences for a blog (livinglab.commons.cuny.edu) that I am subscribed to through Subscribe2, and it oddly showed me as being subscribed to blogs that I have never subscribed to. Any idea what is going on? Screenshot attached.
