<p>A site member reports that a request to join a group was lost -- the email came, but the site showed no pending requests. When I checked on this, the prospective member had already been added to the group.</p>

<p>When a member both accepted an invitation to a group AND requested membership to a group and had that request accepted, he was listed twice in the membership rolls and received two emails when items were posted to the group wire. <p>We've had a report that the Commons is loading extremely slowly over the MEC network. The problem appears to be related to the MEC/GC server connection.</p>
