Redmine CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #16170 (Resolved): duplication of campushttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/161702022-05-26T21:47:55Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

see attached. The site https://shortdocs.commons.gc.cuny.edu/ did not have a campus. I added CUNY-wide. Now the campus shows twice.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #16143 (Resolved): Is Commons site down?https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/161432022-05-21T19:12:23Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

I notice that both the Commons and CBOX are down. Went down at 3:06 PM.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #11532 (Rejected): About >> Contact Us sub-tab on homepagehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/115322019-06-08T20:21:09Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

A member reported that the "Create a Site" button is not working on the Blog Page. I tested in Chrome and Firefox, and indeed it is not working. (The workaround is to use My Sites>>Create a Site from the admin bar - that works.)
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #3015 (Resolved): Lost Access to Create Hero Slideshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/30152014-02-04T02:33:16Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

Hi - Seems to have happened again. Can you please re-grant access to community facilitators to create hero slides? Thanks!
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #2796 (Resolved): Sluggish Response on the Site - Sunday 9/15 - 3PM -...https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/27962013-09-15T21:56:57Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

Site seems very slow this afternoon and is taking a long time to respond. Are there server issues?
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #2779 (Resolved): Firefox Issue on Portfolio page when scrolling downhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/27792013-09-08T14:36:05Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

Hi - Not sure if anyone else has noticed this - In Windows 7, using Firefox 23.0.1 - I notice that in some cases when a member's profile has no widget content below and less than four lines in the black area, and I try to scroll down, the screen start flashing when it attempts to make the header shorter. I tried with Chrome (which works great) and with Safari and IE (both do not try to minimize the header when content is so short - so no issue). But Firefox seems to go a little crazy.

I tried Firefox on iOS - for the same type of short portfolio - the header is shortened correctly - but there is a sliver of the blog address that shows (in blue) when you scroll down and make the header made smaller.

I tried several portfolios at random - it seems to occur only on really short portfolios. Here is an example: http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/members/cperezdiaz/
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #1745 (Resolved): Dashboard Access to Create Hero Slideshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/17452012-03-17T22:57:20Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

It seems like I lost access to create drafts of hero slides - I can't get into the site's main dashboard to do so. (Sarah and Brian are also supposed to have access, and may have lost privileges as well?)
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #1486 (Resolved): Blog Tag in Grouphttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/14862011-12-21T03:04:26Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

I noticed that when I am in a group (for example QCGSLIS), and I click on "Blog" - it used to take me directly into the group blog. Now it seems to display the posts of the group blog within the group display. See attached. New feature or bug??
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #1461 (Resolved): Strange Behaviour in the Activity Streamhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/14612011-12-17T20:35:49Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

Hi - I created a page called "Release Notes" in Commons News (http://news.commons.gc.cuny.edu/category/release-notes/). I simply added a category ("Release Notes") to each of the four announcement posts (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3) and it seemed to generate 4 items in the site-wide activity stream, each referencing "test private group 2". At least I think I am the one who caused it. See the image attached below.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #1343 (Rejected): Display issue on Front Page - Hero slide descriptio...https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/13432011-11-12T16:00:09Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

I think there may be an issue with the last hero slide plugin on the front page.

Steps to reproduce error:

click on "People"

click on "CUNY Academic Commons" on top navigation in blue

I have attached an image of what I see. Actually the hero slide descriptions start cycling through in that little area, without the pictures.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #1316 (Resolved): Buddy Press Docs - comments going to email, but not...https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/13162011-11-03T01:30:24Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

Hi - I noticed this when I received a comment via email from Brian - the comment did not get posted to the actual Doc he was commenting on, but went out via email. Group was our CAC team - http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/cac-community-team-project-planning/

Here is the comment:

Brian Michael Foote commented on the doc Help System Standardization: at 9:01 pm, October 29, 2011
Hey all, I wanted to mention that I posted a couple of screencaps of Help pages from Etsy, Flickr, and Tumblr just to show how other folks do help. I know I could have just linked to them but…well…I didn’t. The new Codex looks great Scott! This may not be remotely helpful but personally when I look at Help and Support compared to the Codex it feels as though H&S is guided support and the Codex is almost like a manual for the Commons. I realize that isn’t entirely the case but I like how H&S has lead in questions like “How can I create a…” whereas the Codex is more itemized in its description. I’m wondering if it’d be at all helpful to package these two sections that way to members even if the information overlaps significantly. The reason for doing so would be to shape H&S into a place where people could go to learn how to do something whereas the Codex would be more about, er, less hand-holding maybe, or less Com munity Facilitator involvment over the community at large? As a blog H&S could have more of the videos we’ve talked about creating similar to the WP101 videos. We could possibly do member support through the comments on those posts as well so that we could just reference those if the same questions came up, or better, people would find them searching through the site. I’d love to know how you conceptualize the differences between the two. I see that the H&S blog is the main landing page but it’s so robust that I’m having a hard time seeing what keeps them totally distinct. Looking forward to working on this more in the meeting!

But I can't find the comment in the doc. http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/cac-community-team-project-planning/docs/help-system-standardization
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #1257 (Resolved): Next Page Navigation missing at bottom of page when...https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/12572011-10-22T19:31:26Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

When I go to a group that has more than a page of members, and I click on the Members tab, I am presented with a list of the group's members. When I scroll down to the bottom of the page, I do not see the navigation that allows me to go to the next page of members. Instead, I have to scroll all the was to the top and use the navigation there to view the next page. This is inconsistent with how we display group, member, blogs on other tabs and may lead some to feel they're seeing the complete list of members in a group, while in fact they are just seeing the first page.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #1230 (Resolved): Access to blogs after releasehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/12302011-10-13T01:54:09Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

Hi - I've noticed that I can't get into some blogs after release. For example: DHI - http://cunydhi.commons.gc.cuny.edu/ Codex - http://codex.commons.gc.cuny.edu/ GSLIS - http://qcgslis.commons.gc.cuny.edu/
But I have been able to get into others. for example - http://latinofacultyinitiativecuny.commons.gc.cuny.edu/

Anyone else seeing this problem?
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #754 (Resolved): LaTex parsing on email notificationshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/7542011-05-12T01:57:17Zscott vothscott.voth@verizon.net

I don't know if this is possible to even control - but when reviewing LaTex support on the Commons, I noticed that when email notifications are sent out, LaTex code is not parsed. So if a member contributes to a group forum, and that contribution has LaTex, it looks good in the forum, but the email notification goes out with the [latex] tags.
