Redmine CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #19784 (Resolved): Forums on iPhone not Readablehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/197842024-02-21T13:23:04ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

I noticed that it's not possible to view or horizontal scroll forum posts on my phone (iPhone 12). Matt has confirmed he sees the same thing. Screenshots attached.
CUNY Academic Commons - Support #17647 (Resolved): JITP Redirectshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/176472023-02-09T16:18:46ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

Our friends at JITP are completing their migration to Manifold over the next month, and are asking about the feasibility of setting up article level redirects for all previous pieces from their original permalinks on the Commons to their new locations on Manifold. Would it be feasible and possible to run a script to place these redirects once the old and new urls are compiled?
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #16562 (Duplicate): Forum Emails from "CUNYGC Linux Service"https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/165622022-08-04T13:14:18ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

I've noticed that over the past week Commons forum emails and post notifications sent through forums are from the name "CUNYGC Linux Service," with a reply to address of linux.svc@gc.cuny.edu.

Attaching header for one such email.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #15026 (Duplicate): Email Notifications from Social Paperhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/150262021-12-02T16:57:02ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

In the past few minutes I've gotten dozens of email notifications about this paper -- https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/papers/depression-addiction-and-finding-a-lifelong-friend/ --

@Lisa reports the same. Is this spamming or a runaway process?
CUNY Academic Commons - Feature #14430 (Resolved): Ordering Semester Filter on Courses Tabhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/144302021-05-07T12:11:59ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

Would like to propose ordering Semester filter dropdown on the courses tab by reverse chronological order rather than alphabetically, if possible.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #14228 (Resolved): JITP Not Fully Loadinghttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/142282021-03-24T16:01:25ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

JITP http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu is not fully loading. Seeing this on the staging site as well http://jitpstaging.commons.gc.cuny.edu/.

Adding Patrick DeDauw, who reports that site was working fine earlier this morning, and that no recent changes have been made to the site.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #13593 (Resolved): Error with "jQuery Lightbox For Native Galleries" ...https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/135932020-11-18T22:40:04ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

I was troubleshooting an error on the JITP Staging website and discovered that the "jQuery Lightbox For Native Galleries" plugin was causing a white screen error on all the front pages of the site. Deactivating the plugin resolved the error, and just wanted to report.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #13430 (New): Delay in RBEhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/134302020-10-06T12:27:23ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

Have noticed that Reply By Email forum posts are taking a while to go through... here's one I sent this morning at 7:02 to the TLC Group that took over an hour to land: https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/?p=99426. Similar thing happened yesterday with https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/?p=99360.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #13187 (Resolved): Log In Glitchhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/131872020-08-12T15:51:07ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

Reporting an ongoing issue I've had with logging into the Commons.

I use LastPass, and when I log in via the "Log In" button on the WP Admin Bar using the LastPass Chrome OR Safari extension, I'm redirected to https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fgconline.commons.gc.cuny.edu%2Fwp-admin%2F and asked to log in again. I am, however, logged in (when I visit CAC in a new tab, or closing the tab and then visiting another page on the Commons).

If I log out of the Commons but do not quit the browser, and then log back in using the same method, I am not redirected. If I quit the browser and restart, I am then again redirected.

Happy to do additional testing.
CUNY Academic Commons - Feature #13093 (Duplicate): Adding Zoom icon for External Links in Grouphttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/130932020-07-27T16:13:10ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

Given how many courses are going to be taught using Zoom this year, it could be helpful to display a Zoom icon for external Zoom links posted to Groups.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #12675 (Resolved): Markup coming through on Group Forum Mentionshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/126752020-04-18T15:10:48ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

I've @tted a couple of folks in group forum posts recently, and the some markup has bled through to the post... I've had to go back in to edit by hand to clean up. Here's an example:

Hi Boone-- do we keep a master list of CUNY email domains, or would it be easy to generate one from the Commons user base? I'm setting up a Slack team and want to allow anyone with a CUNY email to join.

Thx-
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #12331 (Duplicate): Faulty Link in My Commonshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/123312020-01-27T19:41:33ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

Attempting to navigate to my course site (Critical Approaches to Educational Technology) via My Commons, and the link thrown by the site title is, for some reason, back to the My Commons page (link visible in bottom left of attached screenshot).
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #12326 (Resolved): Hiccup in loading Invitation Modulehttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/123262020-01-24T22:11:51ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

Noticed that when I click "Add Existing" from the Pending Requests page — /wp-admin/users.php?page=ms-pending-requests — the old Add Existing User page loads for a moment before the Invitation Module loads. Screenshot attached.
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #12208 (Resolved): No Email Notification Generated for Posthttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/122082019-12-11T18:37:34ZLuke Waltzerlwaltzer@gc.cuny.edu

This post seemingly did not generate an email notification:
