Redmine CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #20062 (Staged for Production Release): Quick Edit Feature Resets Pos...https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/200622024-03-26T23:03:59ZZachary Muhlbauer

When I use the Quick Edit option to make changes to an existing post, the author of the post automatically resets to the first individual listed in the site's user list, regardless of who the original author was.

I replicated the issue in Firefox and Safari as well as across multiple themes. I also spoke with another instructor and confirmed that the Quick Edit option resets post authorship for them, too.

It's a nasty little bug if only because determining the original author of certain posts can be tricky and time-consuming when there isn't an available edit history for the post.
NYCDH Community Site - Feature #10631 (New): DATA VIS - Flyer and Cardshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/106312018-10-29T18:19:49ZAlex IrklievskiAIrklievski@gc.cuny.eduNYCDH Community Site - Feature #10630 (New): Digital Humanities - Flyer and Cardshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/106302018-10-29T18:14:33ZAlex IrklievskiAIrklievski@gc.cuny.eduNYCDH Community Site - Feature #10628 (New): Data Science - Flier and Cardshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/106282018-10-29T18:07:24ZAlex IrklievskiAIrklievski@gc.cuny.eduNYCDH Community Site - Feature #10627 (New): Compu Linguistics - Flyer and Cardshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/106272018-10-29T18:01:39ZAlex IrklievskiAIrklievski@gc.cuny.eduNYCDH Community Site - Feature #10626 (Assigned): Cognitive Neuroscience - Flyer and Cardshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/106262018-10-29T17:52:37ZAlex IrklievskiAIrklievski@gc.cuny.eduNYCDH Community Site - Feature #10625 (New): IMS - Flyer and Cardshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/106252018-10-29T17:44:21ZAlex IrklievskiAIrklievski@gc.cuny.eduNYCDH Community Site - Feature #10624 (New): QMSS - Flyer and Cardshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/106242018-10-29T17:36:33ZAlex IrklievskiAIrklievski@gc.cuny.eduNYCDH Community Site - Bug #8992 (Assigned): Multiple RBE error reportshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/89922017-12-11T22:20:23ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Hi Ray --

Twice today, I've had a single RBE email rejected, saying it can't be posted. In each case, I've received 2-3 error messages, as if the message had been sent multiple times to the CAC. I'm not sure whether my gmail is trying to send multiple times (which seems unlikely, as I think it reached the system, even if only to result in an error message) or whether RBE is the issue.
NYCDH Community Site - Bug #2618 (Assigned): Mark blogs as spam when created by users marked as spamhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/26182013-06-10T03:34:26ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Per an email discussion based on an nycdh.org issue, WordPress does not automatically mark a blog as spam when its creator is marked as spam. As you noted, Boone, it's a WP issue; if you could work on it at some point by, as you noted, "creat[ing] a patch to WP, or a small mu-plugin, or probably both," that would be great. Many thanks.
NYCDH Community Site - Feature #2577 (Assigned): Investigate Potential to Add Links to the Forumhttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/25772013-05-16T21:14:40ZMark Newtonmnewton@columbia.edu

Issue History between Matt and Alex

Any way to have the link to the help & support group point directly to the forum? [no, not right now, unless we write new code. You could request this as an option here -- https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/commons-in-a-box - but what you want to request is that users have the option of making the group homepage the forum instead of activity -- MKG] [will do. might be useful for help pages. i'll dig around to see how to add the functionality. if it's not too time consuming I'll put in a pull request. ]
NYCDH Community Site - Bug #2576 (Hold): Test Next Button in Javascript Tutorial Under Activitieshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/25762013-05-16T21:13:39ZMark Newtonmnewton@columbia.edu

Issue history with Matt and Alex

The javascript tutorial on the activities section is screwy on the when you click on the ‘next’ button. [can you describe what you mean by "screwy" and/or take a screenshot/screencast? Also describe your browser/os. Just tried it and it worked okay for me --MKG][Hard to try again once you've been through it. seems only to work on first run. i saw two things. on click the arrow box turned into a blank square of a different size. on the last page, hovering on the drop-down menu, the pop-up box is cut in half by the browser window. i'm using Chrome on LionOSX.
