Your screenshots indicate that, according to the system, these two groups were most recently active a month ago. This is why they didn't show up in your "recent groups" display. (You said they didn't appear on the my-groups tab, but it's likely they were on a subsequent page, since it's ordered by activity.) What I mean to say is that, given that the last activity date was a month ago, then it's expected behavior that they wouldn't show up as recently active.

So the question is why they had the wrong activity date. Unfortunately, it's hard to debug because it looks like your recent posts to each of the group had the effect of bumping the last activity date.

The next time you see this happen, could you let our team know before doing anything? That way, we can look at the specific last_activity timestamp for the group, which will give us a hint as to what's happening. (For example, it could be something like: an old blog post or forum topic was edited, and the last activity timestamp was changed to match the original publication date of that old item. But this is something we'd only be able to deduce with a specific timestamp.)
CUNY Academic Commons - Bug #16565: Issues with My Groups activity recency listinghttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/16565?journal_id=786072023-04-13T16:23:58ZBoone Gorgesboone@gorg.es
