Description
Message from a faculty member:
None of the image files (pictures .jpg and .png) seem to load on my website:
https://mccarthymat150.commons.gc.cuny.edu/
The video files load and work. The Latex code works fine.
Only the picture files don't load.
If you scroll down to the bottom of the above page, you'll see an example of what I mean.
All you will see is a box where the image file (a picture of a raspberry bush) is supposed to be.
I've also attached a screen grab of what I see -- no picture!
It's not just that welcome page, but the entire website, at least every page I checked.
The website was working fine just a few days ago.
Then, my students emailed me, "PROFESSOR WE CAN'T SEE THE PICTURES ANYMORE!
Please let me know what is wrong and how to fix it.
Screenshot 1 is what the faculty member sent and 2 is what i see; screenshot 3 is my own course site where the avatar pictures are not loading.
I am able to see the images on his site (https://mccarthymat150.commons.gc.cuny.edu/) but am experiencing a similar issue with the author avatar images on my own site (https://psy327f22.commons.gc.cuny.edu)
Moreover, in the faculty member's case, it is strange that he AND the students cannot see the pictures so I wanted to ask if you all see anything else that might be going on here. For now I told him to clear his history and cache, try another browser, and try to access on non-CUNY wifi to see if that makes a difference.
Thanks
