Description

When setting up a new group, after you get to step 5 you're prompted to select members to invite to your group from a list of people on the Commons. Anyway we could add a feature where you invite by email as well to attract those who would be interested in a group but don't yet have a Commons profile?

Thanks for this, Brian. It's something that Boone is already working on, though he is busy right now with a major upgrade to WordPress and BuddyPress. But it's on our radar and it's a planned feature.

Email invitations have been turned on, but they're still not part of the group creation process. In an earlier version of the plugin, I had allowed for email invitations, but it was causing conflicts with the regular group invitation screen, so I ended up turning it off.

Closing this ticket.
