Description

Hi Dev team,

this post came into the Teaching on the Commons group last night: https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/teaching-courses-on-the-commons/forum/topic/50-mcat-style-mini-questions-2/

It looks like spam and is concerning with the attachment.

I have seen this user post annoying/unrelated/poorly formatted content in the past so maybe this is just another instance of that but wanted to flag the account since maybe it has been compromised:

https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/members/znamenski/

If there is nothing nefarious going on here, I am going to reach out to this user to discuss posting because this is not the first time they have posted unreasonable/annoying content to a large public group.

Hi Laurie,

I don't think this is spam. It looks like the author used the cross-posting functionality of the forums to cross-post the same topic to the Physics group: https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/physics/forum/topic/50-mcat-style-mini-questions/

My guess is the user probably thought that the "Teaching Courses on the Commons" group would be a worthwhile place to post the same topic given the subject matter.
