Target version set to Future release

It's possible but it will be a fair amount of work. I'm thinking it'd take me 10-12 hours.

I agree that this part of WP is quite lacking, but I also think that this is a relatively low-priority item. I'm guessing that adding users to a blog is not a very frequent activity on our site, so the cost-benefit ratio is not as favorable as some other to-do items.
CUNY Academic Commons - Feature #593: Create intuitive interface for adding site members to subdomain blogshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/593?journal_id=23082011-02-21T17:50:08ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Maybe. Why don't we add this to the Roadmap discussion so that community members can let us know their opinions on the relative urgency of the task?
CUNY Academic Commons - Feature #593: Create intuitive interface for adding site members to subdomain blogshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/593?journal_id=24102011-03-03T14:23:09ZBoone Gorgesboone@gorg.es

I should note that this interface has changed a bit (for the better) in WP 3.1. Have a look after the next Commons upgrade and see what you think.
CUNY Academic Commons - Feature #593: Create intuitive interface for adding site members to subdomain blogshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/593?journal_id=24122011-03-03T14:27:18ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Maybe we should start creating a sub-list of issues that we can have UX person look at if we can get one on board next semester.
CUNY Academic Commons - Feature #593: Create intuitive interface for adding site members to subdomain blogshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/593?journal_id=25712011-03-28T18:29:43ZChris Steincstein@bmcc.cuny.edu

Matt, that sounds like a good idea. Where do you think that list would best live? Or should it just be a list of Redmond tickets?
CUNY Academic Commons - Feature #593: Create intuitive interface for adding site members to subdomain blogshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/593?journal_id=25722011-03-28T19:09:37ZMatt Goldmattgold@gmail.com

Great idea, Chris. I just created a page to keep a list: http://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/show/654
CUNY Academic Commons - Feature #593: Create intuitive interface for adding site members to subdomain blogshttps://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/593?journal_id=51392011-11-21T12:55:10ZBoone Gorgesboone@gorg.es
