I've added the LinkedIn ID field -- thanks for this suggestion, Bobby.

Boone, when you have a chance, can you adjust your profile linking plugin so that linkedin urls lead directly to linkedin pages? Thanks very much.

BP already makes links out of URLs in profile fields.

Since LinkedIn (as far as I can see) doesn't really have profile IDs (in the same way Twitter, Flickr etc have user handles), I changed the name of the field from "LinkedIn ID" to "LinkedIn Profile Link", parallel with "Facebook Profile Link".
