Description

While testing in the 1.10 enviornment, when I try to leave a comment to a doc the system sends me a fail message (See fail message png) saying the comment is duplicated when no comment has been published. After refreshing the page, only then will the comment show up.

  • Category name set to BuddyPress Docs

Very odd - I can't reproduce this.

Have you reproduced this in multiple groups on cdev? How about with multiple browsers?

It seems like there may be more than one "click" taking place. Can you open your developer tools (usually by hitting F12) and look for what's usually called the Network tab? See what it says when clicking "Post Comment" - do you see what look like duplicate requests?

Tentatively putting into 1.10, but if we can't reproduce in the next few days, we'll chalk it up as a fluke?

I can't seem to reproduce this either, even when testing on multiple browsers... Maybe it was the ghost of Docs past. I'll keep you posted if it happens again but I think chalking it up as a fluke may be the direction this is heading.

Thank you, Paige! Without steps to reproduce, I'm going to assume that it was a ghost in your browser. Please do reopen with details if it crops up again.
