Hi Commons Team,
Just reporting:
I tried to create a new Commons account with a Non-CUNY email address in Firefox and didn't receive the prompt to enter in the verification code. I switched browsers to Chrome and was able to complete the signup.

Hi Laura - Thanks for the report. Can you please give more details about exactly what you did, and/or provide screenshots? Here's what I'm interpreting:
1. You visited http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/register/
2. In the "Email Address" field, you entered a non-CUNY email address
3. You clicked away or tabbed out (this is called a "blur" event)
4. At this point, you expected to see the Signup Code field appear, but it did not
If this is incorrect, please provide more details. If it's correct, please give me some information about your system - which version of Firefox, which OS, and ideally, whether you see any warnings or errors in your browser's console when blurring out of the Email Address box (F12).
For the record, I'm unable to reproduce the issue; the signup code field is appearing as I'd expect in all cases.

Hi Boone,
Your interpretation is correct. I actually filled out all the rest of the required items and still received no prompt. Unfortunately, I did not take a screenshot, and I have not been able to reproduce the issue at this time. I suppose it could have been a weird browser issue that occurred right as I was trying to sign up?
I'm using Firefox v 49.0.2, OS 10.11.6, and I don't see any errors at this time (sorry!).

Thanks for the quick follow-up, Laura. I'm still unable to reproduce, so I'm going to chalk your earlier problem up to a blip and close this ticket. If it comes up again, please grab a screenshot (including of the browser console) and reopen.
