Status changed from New to Resolved

Target version set to 1.10.9

It appears that the bug described here https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/7283#note-12 affected more than just Jetpack. There were seven other plugins that were mistakenly rolled back to old versions. It appears that I used an upgrade routine script that was reading from a report that was over a year old. I've fixed all the plugins and deployed directly to production.

In the specific case of list-category-posts, it appears that a plugin loader file with a changed name was the reason why the plugin deactivated itself. This would only happen in cases where the admin visited the plugins.php page in the Dashboard; otherwise WP would have simply ignored the plugin. So while, over the last three days, it's likely that other sites didn't have LCP's functionality on the front end, it should also be the case that all or most of them will have that functionality restored automatically after the fix described above.

Very sorry for the troubles.
