Description
Timothy Wilson recently reported that the front page slides on the ILETC site stopped loading recently: http://iletc.commons.gc.cuny.edu. I went to the site and the slider definitely isn't working, but I just tested the Simplicity theme and was not able to replicate this issue.
I've added Timothy as a watcher to this ticket.

I am assuming that this is due to recent WooThemes upgrades.

This is a resurgence of #1916, which has come about again for WooThemes that were recently updated. I've applied a similar fix: https://github.com/castiron/cac/commit/3c61706547d6b7523350f4113a9cc814ba75dcd3
Because this is a specific kind of fix, I was also able to apply it as a hotfix. You should see the fix immediately on the Commons production site.
Note for myself: there is a bash script on the server ~/timthumb-woo.sh that I wrote to create the necessary symlinks.
Hearing a report of this on another site that uses the Simplicity theme. Boone, was the fix you put in only for the site in the original ticket, or should this be resolved across all sites using Simplicity?
It should be fixed across all sites. Please reopen this ticket or open a separate one with details.
- Status changed from Resolved to Assigned
- Target version changed from 1.6.5 to 1.6.6
Thanks for the details. Can you verify that this is the "report of this on another site" that you mentioned above, or is there yet another site being affected?
Two different sites. The other one is here , though it looks like she may have disabled the slider since it was not working.
- Status changed from Assigned to Resolved
Looks to be working now. Thanks!
