closedDante Framework plugin interferes with Gutenberg block editor
0%
Description
Hi there,
I hope you are all well!
I am reaching out at the suggestion of Matt Gold. The Gutenberg block editor was not accessible from the Digital Fellows website (https://digitalfellows.commons.gc.cuny.edu). To troubleshoot, I deactivated all the plugins, and reactivated them one by one to see if either one of them was interfering with Gutenberg. It turns out the Dante Framework plugin was causing some trouble. It appears as though the Dante Framework plugin is important to our website...there's a message on the plugins page urging us to activate it. For the moment, we are moving forward without it. What should we do?
Thanks for your help and please let me know if you have any questions!
Best,
Rebecca

Hi Rebecca,
It appears that the Dante framework disables Gutenberg by default. I've just enabled Gutenberg from the "Theme Options > General" page. There is a note that if you enable Gutenberg, that their Swift Page Builder will not work. So if you need their page builder, then disable Gutenberg again from the Theme Options page.

Thank you, Raymond! Seems like it works great now. Thanks the quick turnaround! Much, much appreciated!
