Sarah -- can I ask you to add the info in this ticket to the Codex? http://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/1624 Basically, we just want people to know that if they switch their groups from private --> public, the announcements posted while the group was private will be inaccessible as long as group privacy is set to public.
