I don't believe that a widget exporter would help if the user wanted the structured links, ie those items that are at https://lifewritng.commons.gc.cuny.edu/wp-admin/link-manager.php

Could you ask Jason what he wants the links for? Is it for import into another WP site? I don't see an obvious tool, either on the Commons or elsewhere, for easily exporting, but I could probably rig something up if I knew the final purpose.

Thanks, Marilyn. In this case, the easiest thing is for me to do the export/import myself. Could you ask Jason for the destination site URL? (In the future, we could explore a self-service tool, since WP doesn't provide one.)

Jason can of course remove or edit unwanted items after the import.
