Description

The name of the plugin is Interactive Geo Maps. It's designed to create interactive maps on WordPress sites under a variety of features. The plugin is free to use and download with a premium subscription optional. Interactive Geo Maps was last updated 6 days ago and has 30,000+ active installations.

The plugin can be found here:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/interactive-geo-maps/

There are no similar plugins available on the CUNY Commons plugins list. This plugin would allow my website to provide data over maps in an interactive manner. I plan on using this plugin to model flood hazard / risk, weather data from weather stations, and socioeconomic metrics in tandem to highlight the insights of my research.

The website I've created is available here:
https://wave.commons.gc.cuny.edu<https://wave.commons.gc.cuny.edu/>

It's barebones now as we set it up today, but this plugin will be vital to demonstrating insights from our research. WAVE, or Weather Analysis and Visualization for Everyone, is a project being run out of City College, under the National Science Foundation's Research Experiences for Undergraduates program. We're sponsored by NOAA-CREST at City College as well. The nature of our work demands that we have access to this plugin. We are designing the website to provide the public with relevant information regarding the impact of climate change on the five boroughs of New York City.

Thank you.

Thank you for your time.

Kind regards,

My thanks to Arhum for the detailed request. The plugin looks good. I've added it to the codebase https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cac/commit/dccd96cf4548357db4a96fbcc9f5a609ea280874 and it will be available for our next maintenance release on July 25.
