Description

Hoping this one is easy:

"My name is Gaurav Singh and I'm a web developer working with Frank Hentschker and the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center team.
We have recently made a new website for the Segal Center on Wix, ie platform outside the Commons. We have already published and connected our main domain ie www.thesegalcenter.org to the new website and it is live.
However, we would like to maintain a copy of the old website made on the CUNY Commons for archival purposes. The old website is https://thesegalcenter.commons.gc.cuny.edu, however this is being automatically redirected to the domain www.thesegalcenter.org thereby not allowing us to access to the old website publicly.
I believe this link "https://thesegalcenter.commons.gc.cuny.edu" is set to automatically forward to "thesegalcenter.org" from your end.
Could we remove this redirect? Alternatively, could we be provided another link to the old website on the commons that we could send people to? For whoever needs to access the archival material. We also have a domain called www.mestc.org that we could use for this purpose.
Please let us know what is the best way forward. I've also copied Frank Hentschker on the mail thread.
Best wishes.
Gaurav "

  • Category name set to Domain Mapping
  • Status changed from New to Resolved
  • Target version set to Not tracked

I've disabled the redirect for the mapped thesegalcenter.org domain, and it's now possible to visit the site at https://thesegalcenter.commons.gc.cuny.edu/. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.
