Description

Should there be a way to create events that are associated to a site? For example, if someone belonging to CUNY Pie wanted to create an pizza event, all members of the site would receive notification of the event.

That's what the group calendar is for. An event placed in https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/cuny-pie/events/ will automatically be reported to members according to their group subscription level ("All Email", "Daily Digest", etc). This of course only works for sites linked to groups. But, as with other BP-specific features like forums, I think we've generally been OK with this restriction - it's one of the arguments in favor of using a "connected group and site" rather than just a site.
