Description

Via Keeping, Kenny Hirschmann asks

"I have a group with subscribed calendars, but when I was setting them up I kept getting errors that it didn’t have permission to fetch the events. So I added the same feed multiple times. Ultimately, two of them started working and the events on the calendar doubled. So I tried deleting everything but the top row, and they disappear until I refresh and then they’re back. Can you please help me remove all but the top subscription, which is working properly?

Also, any way to change the group’s slug? liftcuny-collective would be better."

The problem was another user manually added the same event by uploading an .ics file. I have removed the manually-uploaded event from the calendar and left the one added by iCalendar URL.

We removed the ability for group admins to change the group's slug way back in #9717. Boone, do we want to allow this group slug change request? If so, should we add a .htaccess rule to redirect all old slug requests to the new one?
