BuddyPress Members Widget on Homepage doesn't show new members

Description

I've noticed that the buddypress members widget, currently being used in the middle column on http://nycdh.org, doesn't show all members correctly. For instance, I see that cwulfman registered yesterday, but when I go to the homepage and sort members by "newest," that account doesn't show up. Thoughts?

If you are checking the person's registration from the WP admin dashboard, they will show up there.

However, if the person recently registered an account, that person needs to login to show up in the "Members" list. If they do not login, they will not show up in the list.
