I've noticed this on Firefox and on Chrome, on my sites http://historyprogram.commons.gc.cuny.edu/ and http://enlightenment.commons.gc.cuny.edu/

We had reports of this last night, but IT appears to have resolved those problems. Can you please specify when you saw this slowness? The site appears to be working normally to me.

Matt - This was true all day yesterday, but now it seems normal today (Wednesday).
