Description
I am working on a project called The CUNY Syllabus Project (http://syllabus.commons.gc.cuny.edu) and need a way to enable visitors to submit PDF and Doc files through the submit page. The plugin Frontend Uploader (https://wordpress.org/plugins/frontend-uploader) seems to do a good job. I've tested the plugin on another COBX installation (http://syllabustest.socialpaper.gc.cuny.edu) and it works well. Can this plugin be added to the CUNY Academic Commons, or at least to the CUNY Syllabus Project site?

Hi Laura. Sorry for the delay in responding. Plugins that allow anonymous users to upload files to the website are often security risks, so I wanted to wait for a time when I could review Frontend Uploader properly. I've done a sweep through the plugin and it seems to be doing things correctly, so I'm going to go ahead and add it. After today's release, please test it out and see if it works for your purposes - at a glance, it seems like there might be conflicts between the plugin and some of our networkwide security settings, especially related to filetypes. So make sure you're able to whitelist pdf and docx etc successfully, and reopen this ticket with details if you have problems.

Apologies for the delay; I was able to install the plugin and upload a docx and pdf file to the site! Wooh!
