Description

I tried to delete multiple old, unread messages by selecting them and clicking 'delete selected', but it just takes me to the top of the page and doesn't delete the items.
'Mark as read' and 'mark as unread' both have the desired effects, and so does the 'delete' button on an individual message, but 'delete selected' doesn't seem to do anything.

This is a duplicate of the BuddyPress ticket https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/5347, which was fixed for BP 1.9.1. We run a fork of BP's JS, which is why it wasn't fixed for us at the same time.

Fixed on the Commons in https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cac/commit/3b3e76030c0485ab90a962fc1ab37166b0083276
