Description
I understand that this may already be a known issue. A user writes: "I am trying to add a quick link to my profile but, though it says the name (heatherwright) is available it will not save it. I'm not sure if there is a bug or if I am doing something wrong. I typed in the name, waited until it said available, and then clicked save changes. I have tried it a few different times (on two different browsers) and still nothing. "
Please let me know when solved and I'll update the user. Thanks!

Thanks for reporting this, Marilyn. It turned out that recent changes in BuddyPress meant that we were not saving the new link early enough. I had to debug this on the live server, so the fix is live (and here https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cac/commit/af6811b023b252b31d70338dc6e01643b2815a0d). Could I ask you to verify, and then to let me know what you find?

Happy to report that the fix works Boone! The user tried again and had no problems.
