Description

I can see that you can probably go into the HTML mode to enter images. But I think we need an easier way to add, scale, and position images.

I will look around, but my guess is that this will be hard. I'll put it on the 1.3 milestone and have a look at it after more pressing issues are taken care of.

I was playing around with the table functionality and see that it is quite easy to insert images, background colors and borders, etc. if you are comfortable using tables. Support for tables within this plugin is very robust, I think.

Real image support is going to be very hard. TinyMCE just sucks at this kind of stuff.

But you make a good point about the table functions. When I started over again with BuddyPress Docs, I did not include the TinyMCE table plugin. I just took some time and added it to BuddyPress Docs: https://github.com/boonebgorges/buddypress-docs/commit/fb65a5818e646cfbcb1fe01a46332aab7a30c655

I'll mark this ticket as resolved, based on this solution. If we find a real need for super-rich image placement in the future, we'll have to go beyond TinyMCE, which will be a huge project. We can reopen this ticket if that time comes.
