Description

Editing the following widgets in profile page produces no changes, at least when used on Chrome, Firefox and IE on a PC:

Twitter
RSS Feed
Free Entry

No error message are given, the changes simply so not appear.
A user brought this to my attention, and I am having the same results. LMK what other info you need.

  • Category name set to Public Portfolio
  • Status changed from New to Resolved
  • Assignee set to Boone Gorges
  • Target version set to 1.9.6

Thanks for the report, Marilyn. There were some broken variable names in the JavaScript that were causing certain things not to be updated correctly. Could I ask you to verify on the production site please?

On cdev, logged in as Test Student, I can now get Free Entry to work. RSS and Twitter do not allow saving of changes.

Thanks for looking, Marilyn. Actually, though, I didn't deploy the fix to cdev - it's on the production site, https://commons.gc.cuny.edu. Could you try there please?
