Description
Steve Brier reports:
Haven't received an email notification despite many posts by my students since November 16. I'm "all email" and yet they've stopped coming. Help!!
I've asked him to send us the URL. What else should I ask?

Hi Marilyn - Thanks for the ticket. It appears that I don't have access to view outgoing mail logs after this summer's server migration. I've just made the request of IT, so that I can do some digging.
Specific info that would be helpful from Steve:
- URL of one or more pieces of content that should have triggered a notification, but did not
- URL of the group in question
- Verification that he checked spam :) (if something's in spam, it could still be a bug on our end, but it would help me to narrow down the source of the issue)

He sent me the URL - http://2016itpcore1.commons.gc.cuny.edu/. I'll ask the rest and lyk.

Steve reports that there's nothing in his spam folder. Here are two posts that should have triggered a notification, but did not

- Status changed from New to Resolved
- Target version set to 1.10.3
Thanks very much for the additional info, Marilyn. It turns out that this was, indeed, a bug that was introduced by some recent changes. On the 15th, I added a caching layer to part of the "group blog" connection plugin. This caching layer had a bug in it, which caused some groupblog posts not to be crossposted to group activity streams properly. This, in turn, caused email notifications not to be delivered.
I've fixed the issue in https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cac/commit/32e4812a39bc83f8d59bbf462314f7eeafe570fb. The fix is available immediately on the production site.
Please extend my apologies to Steve for the inconvenience, and thanks for his patience.

Great! He replies:
Hi, all. Just received my first email push (http://dhpraxisfall16.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2016/11/22/workshop-on-digital-project-planning/ ) so hopefully this is now working again. Many thanks, Boone. Still haven’t gotten one from my other ITP course, but no one has blogged since class last night. I’ll do a blog post myself and see if I get an email notification. If not, I’ll let you know. Have a good holiday.
Steve
