Possible to Clear Group Membership Request Notification?

Description

When there are multiple administrators of a closed group, each administrator is notified when a member requests admission to the group. If group admin B addresses the request, the notification persists for group admin A, who clicks through and sees "There are no pending membership requests."

Is it possible/desirable to clear that notification?

I'm surprised it's not cleared. This sounds like a BuddyPress bug. I'll look into it.

BuddyPress ticket: https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/7375 Once it's approved there, I'll roll it back into the Commons.

This was fixed in BP in https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/11278. It'll be part of BP 2.8, which should be on the Commons on February 21.

In the meantime, I have a hotfix that does the same thing https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cac/commit/1f7fba07a2fbbcbe95b0885b8daa5b9115e33b81, which I'll remove after the upgrade to BP 2.8.
