User Rukshana Jalil writes "I noticed when I put up a profile pic on my CUNY Academic Commons profile, it appears in Google. Is there any way to set this so that only people registered on Commons can see my pic and restricts it from appearing in Google results. I did not see any option to make the profile pic restricted."
I know it can be done for a site, but I also don't see a way to do it in the Profile.

No, this is not currently possible. It would be a technical challenge to build this feature, because of some details about the way avatars are loaded on the Commons. My suggestion, for the moment, would be for the user to remove the avatar if having it public is undesirable.
