closedcuny.is SSL

Description
I recently created https://cuny.is/SPSWritingFellows for https://bacwritingfellows.commons.gc.cuny.edu. It works fine for me but the admin reports "When I go to the link, it works. However, some others have done so and got an error message. (See attached.). I guess this is because cuny.is<http://cuny.is> does not have SSL and the user’s browser is set up to reject insecure websites.
Is there anything that can be done to avoid this? We don’t want students to not get through due to their browser settings."

We're working on SSL for cuny.is as part of summer system updates.
The problem here is this:
I recently created https://cuny.is/SPSWritingFellows
You didn't really create https://cuny.is/SPSWritingFellows, you created http://cuny.is/SPSWritingFellows. Be sure that when you share these URLs, you don't share an HTTPS version.

cuny.is is now SSL-only, so we're all set here. https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cac/commit/db380aa0d5babfc19dcc87e3719085fd09081467
