I noticed the OER Metadata tag is only available on sites with the teaching purpose.
Maybe this was our original intent and scope? But I think it would be beneficial to make this tag available on any site.
A use case: there are a group of grad students developing an OER site that hosts resources for teaching music . The purpose is listed as "community of interest" but the site does host OER and therefore, it would be helpful if the site could be tagged as containing oer. This would also mean we would need to extend the tag search/filter to the site directory.
I think this above use case could apply to various other OER sites that offer OER but are not courses.
Adding this ticket to flag this as a possible new feature / extension of the existing feature.
