it looks to me like the administrative interface for cuny.is is unavailable, likely due to recent work on the server and/or SSL issues. can you please take a look? screenshot attached.

I'm not seeing the same thing. I can access cuny.is/admin without a problem. I see two possibilities:

1. It was a temporary issue with the Commons databases more broadly. I see that there was a reboot a few hours ago. Try again to see if it's still a problem.

2. You're looking at the dev site. Do you have an entry for cuny.is in your /etc/hosts file? In a terminal window, when you type "ping cuny.is", does it return the IP address 146.96.128.200?

It works now. thanks. I think I may have seen a Db restart notice from IT, so maybe it had something to do with that. In any case, thank you for checking it out
