Description
I'm simply creating this ticket to start a list of relevant CUNY user surveys that have been conducted in the past and that might be good for me to look at. User surveys help give unique insights into how the people interacting with our website(s) experience, common issues they run into, and features they miss.
If you have any surveys from the past couple of years you'd like to share, please do so below.

Stephen shared:
2016 Commons Survey – This analysis of the survey is more granular than the previous document I sent you and may shed more light on the ways people use the Commons. I reached out to the authors of the survey to see if I could get a copy of the survey itself. One of them told me she doesn’t have it, while the one most likely to have it is out of town this week. Hopefully when she returns, she will be able to send us a copy of the document.

2016 Survey presentation – Here is a presentation that was published with an analysis of the results of the survey. I would still like to get you a copy of the survey itself, which was more granular and comprehensive regarding what people do (and can do) on the Commons.

Hi Sonja -- here is a link to discussion forum threads in our team related to surveys. https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/cac-community-team-project-planning/forum/search/survey/
I can also put you in touch with our past UX designers if that would help and I can share some past google docs with you if needed

Thanks Matt,
Please share any past Google docs you think might be relevant. I won't dig into this right away and am mindful about spending time digging into these surveys, but it's good to start collecting them for when the time is right. I don't think I currently need to talk to past UX designers, but good to know that's an option if needed. Thanks!

I'll review this and will make some recommendations on additional user research.

I've reviewed the survey a while ago and it was quite extensive. If we need more insights into a certain user behavior for a specific feature we're working on, we should conduct focused user research / testing based on the problem we're trying to solve. That's my recommendation moving forward.
