Description
We just had a user report that upon trying to sign up, the address [user]@mail.cuny.edu was rejected with the message that it was was not an acceptable email address. This was a Dean trying to sign on . . . not good, especially considering how many people might try to sign in tomorrow.

I had neglected to implement the necessary core hack to allow for email domain wildcards, as documented in basecamp: https://123.writeboard.com/96452718493ecdc46. Should be fixed now; please verify.
