I'd like to request a theme and a plugin for displaying & managing a webcomic:

• ComicPress (theme) <http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/comicpress> (to publish and display comic)
• ComicPress Manager <http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/comicpress-manager/> (works with the theme to manage comic content)

This is a project on which I'm working at the Lehman College Library. (It's a friendly & familiar way of teaching students about research & plagiarism.) You can see how this theme & plugin make this possible by viewing the comic on my personal server:

I know we used to have ComicPress installed, but we removed it in part because no one was using it. Now that someone wants it installed, I'd say that we should unless you see any problems with it. I remember that one annoying thing about that theme is that new versions seemed to have appeared as separate themes in the theme finder -- so that, by the end, we had three or four different versions of CP. I guess we'll just have to keep an eye on that and possibly delete old versions as new ones become available if it happens again.
